Today, more than one-third of all Americans are part of a stepfamily. That’s over 113 million people navigating the unique, often complicated realities of blended family life.

But while the need is enormous, the support is tragically small.

Less than 0.5% of churches have a ministry for blended families. Many pastors and leaders feel unequipped. And as stepfamilies continue to grow in number, too many are left to figure things out alone.

At FamilyLife, we believe that should change.

• Make resources accessible to every stepfamily, everywhere—online and in person.
• Translate materials into multiple heart languages to reach more families globally.
• Launch a Military Stepfamily Boot Camp, offering specialized help for blended military families.
• Raise up and train new leaders—project coordinators and ministry coaches who will mentor the next generation and help churches care for stepfamilies well.
